Position Summary

The Store Manager serves as the ultimate authority within the retail environment, responsible for every facet of store performance. This role ensures that all departments are engaged, achieving essential objectives, and providing an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Encourage continuous learning and development for all team members through consistent feedback, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Address employee concerns and issues promptly, collaborating with internal resources when necessary to take appropriate action.

Guest Experience and Community Engagement: Lead an outstanding guest experience on the sales floor by evaluating guest interactions and technical product knowledge, while supporting team members in addressing any gaps through constructive feedback and coaching.

Direct in-store team members to ensure an optimal guest experience that respects guests' time and supports efficient store operations.

Handle emergent issues, including guest escalations and urgent requests, with professionalism.

Enhance brand visibility within the community by fostering inclusive relationships with local ambassadors, community leaders, and external partners.

Plan and execute community-driven projects and initiatives, such as local fitness clubs and wellness events.

Operations, Product Management, and Strategy: Oversee store visual merchandising and product strategy, including managing product escalations and executing company-driven initiatives.

Monitor product levels and manage inventory accuracy to optimize sell-through, aligning with visual merchandising strategies.

Conduct high-level quarterly and seasonal planning for the store, considering strategy, budget, and labor requirements.

Manage the store's profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with established goals.

Engage actively on the sales floor to assess and meet the needs of the business, team, and guests through effective coaching and development of team members.

Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

Perform duties in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

Budget and People Management: Responsible for managing the controllable budget, labor hours, and annual sales targets.

Lead all other store leadership roles and hold ultimate responsibility for hiring and terminating store employees.

At least 1 year of experience managing business operations, including retail scheduling and project management.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 2 years of retail or sales management experience.

Compensation and Benefits

At lululemon, we recognize exceptional team performance through a pay-for-performance philosophy. The base salary range for this position is $74,895 - $101,327 annually, determined by market location and individual qualifications.

This role includes a target bonus of 30%, contingent upon specific criteria and company discretion, bringing the total target compensation range to $97,364 - $131,724 annually.
