Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Direct Orthopedic Care. As a key member of our orthopedic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Services: Take initial x-rays and follow-up x-rays as directed by our providers, ensuring accurate and timely imaging results.
- Patient Care: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for our patients, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Guest Flow Management: Lead the flow of patients through our radiology department, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
- Radiation Protection: Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques and following established protocols.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of radiology equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and scheduling repairs as needed.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care and imaging results in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Compliance: Maintain awareness of and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
- Leadership: Demonstrate proactive leadership skills and model our company's values in all interactions.
- Communication: Utilize active listening skills and maintain open communication with patients, providers, and staff.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adaptability: Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physical demands of the role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
