About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Merchandise Manager to join our team at Lands' End. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth and delivering measurable results through your expertise in trend forecasting, product development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with our brand vision and drive business growth.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement product lines that meet customer needs and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with designers, buyers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective product development.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform merchandising decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
- Manage and motivate a team of merchandising professionals to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve merchandising processes and strategies.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in buying or merchandising, preferably in a catalog, specialty, or department store environment.
- 5-10 years of product development experience in apparel.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and delivering measurable results through merchandising expertise.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with and traveling to foreign countries, as well as domestic travel.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience sourcing globally.
What We Offer
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health, dental, vision, and disability benefits. Our salary range for this position is $91,400 – $167,500, and an employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors, including relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location, and business or organizational needs. This position may also be eligible for annual merit increase, bonus, and/or incentive compensation.
