Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Specialty team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our veterinary hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries and diagnostic tests.
  • Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
  • Monitor patients under anesthesia and provide critical care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a specialty setting.
  • Pharmacology knowledge and experience with medication administration.
  • Anesthesia knowledge and experience with patient monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
  • Knowledge of veterinary software and electronic medical records.
