Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Specialty team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our veterinary hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries and diagnostic tests.
- Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Monitor patients under anesthesia and provide critical care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a specialty setting.
- Pharmacology knowledge and experience with medication administration.
- Anesthesia knowledge and experience with patient monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Knowledge of veterinary software and electronic medical records.
- Competitive hourly rate: $23.00 - $29.00.
