We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Oncology Consultants. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering state-of-the-art cancer treatment in a caring environment.
Job Summary:The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health of patients across the healthcare continuum. This will involve conducting comprehensive health assessments, identifying normal/abnormal health characteristics, developing treatment plans, initiating appropriate care, and continuously evaluating care outcomes according to established standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide high-quality patient care, including medication management and education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in oncology
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care nursing
- Experience in oncology nursing preferred
