Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role at Cambridge HS is a vital part of our healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide daily nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a valid CNA certificate and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine daily nursing care to residents, including answering call lights and ensuring privacy during care.
  • Assist residents with daily grooming, showering, and feeding, as needed.
  • Transport residents to and from meals and activities, and provide support with mobility and transfers.
  • Report any changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Protect resident confidentiality and maintain accurate records.

Requirements
  • Valid CNA certificate
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to use a computer or tablet to enter resident data

Working Conditions
  • May encounter frequent interruptions and be involved with residents, family, and government agencies.
  • May be requested to work beyond scheduled hours and be subject to emergency conditions.
  • May be exposed to odors, dust, disinfectants, and infectious waste.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the day and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to read fine print on a tablet or medical labels.
