Ameresco's Operations & Maintenance Division is in search of a skilled Electrician to oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and upkeep of commercial or utility-scale solar energy facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify safety risks and adhere to safety protocols for personal and public protection.
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and control system diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate written and digital records for work activities.
  • Conduct repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and installation of solar site equipment.
  • Mentor and guide apprentice electricians and team members.
  • Carry out additional assigned tasks as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial solar electrical or electronic maintenance.
  • Possession of a current Journeyman's Electrical License or equivalent registration.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electrical concepts, voltage, and current relationships.
  • Understanding of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems.
  • Capability to complete necessary training and assessments for the position.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks and work at heights.
  • OSHA training is advantageous.
  • Openness to travel and adapt to varying work schedules.
