Job Summary

We are seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating a timely, accurate, and effective referral intake process, providing analytical insight into admissions data, and coordinating activities with other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a timely, accurate, and effective referral intake process
  • Provide analytical insight into admissions data and referral patterns
  • Coordinate activities with other departments as needed
  • Oversee the pull-through process for the hospital
  • Ensure all deficiencies remain at 0% to eliminate holds
  • Process timely insurance verifications
  • Assist in pre-cert/authorization process
  • Work with the Director of Business Development and other leaders to ensure timely admissions
  • Provide customer service and resolve occasional challenges and obstacles
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
  • A minimum of two years experience performing a broad range of duties with an Admissions or Pre-Admissions Department required
  • Knowledge of Medical terminology preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance verification preferred
  • Experience working with Excel and databases
  • Previous experience within a physical rehabilitation setting preferred
