At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist the pharmacist in daily operational functions, including medication delivery, processing medication orders, and performing code cart checks and clinic inspections. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining pharmacy and point of care inventory, including review of drug expiration dates and restocking of shelves. Additionally, you will prepare intravenous admixtures, including TPN, large volume and small volume IV medications, and perform billing/crediting tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pharmacist in daily operational functions
  • Monitor and maintain pharmacy and point of care inventory
  • Prepare intravenous admixtures
  • Perform billing/crediting tasks

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of prior hospital pharmacy experience
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)
