At White Sands Healthcare, we strive to provide the highest level of care and support to our residents. We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team and help us achieve this goal.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel, assessing work performance, and conducting regular staff meetings. They will also ensure delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shifts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise nursing personnel to ensure high-quality care and services are delivered.
  2. Assess work performance of nursing staff and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss unit standards of care and goals.
  4. Provide direct resident care when required, including administering medications and treatment.
  5. Effectively manage nursing personnel on shift to minimize overtime and agency personnel usage.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice, required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
