Building Maintenance Assistant

The City of Newport is seeking a reliable and experienced individual to fill our open Building Attendant position. As a key member of our facilities team, you will provide support to the users of the Recreation Building, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of duties to support the users of the Recreation Building
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
- Ensure the building is clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other facilities staff to achieve team goals and objectives
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
