Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical referrals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy.
  • Contribute to the education and development of physical therapy students and new staff members.
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each patient, prioritizing respect for their individuality and dignity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice or eligible for licensure by examination or reciprocity.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency with Windows-style applications and keyboard skills for data entry and retrieval.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting information clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills for handling diverse patient diagnoses and needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Physical and Environmental Demands:

This role requires Very Heavy Work, involving exertion of over 100 pounds occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
