Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop aeronautical systems and components, including structural parts and mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including technical specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in aeronautical design and development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aeronautical design and development.
  • Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as CATIA V5.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with CATIA V5 CAD, Siemens Teamcenter PDM/PLM systems, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Manufacture Review Board (MRB) Authority.
  • Experience with non-conformances dispositions and engineering reach-back support to production of field service repairs.
