We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our team at Virginia Mason Medical Center in downtown Seattle. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Service Line, you will play a critical role in the launch of our new CVICU and the growth of our Mechanical Cardiac Support program.
Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of our CVICU and Mechanical Cardiac Support program
- Collaborate with our Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams to provide comprehensive care to our patients
- Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and other clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in educational initiatives with Anesthesiology residents and Cardiology fellows
- Contribute to leadership and committee opportunities across the organization
- Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority
- Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography
