Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist and Intensivist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular service line, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our CVICU.
Responsibilities- Support the launch of our new CVICU at Virginia Mason Medical Center, working collaboratively with our Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart, and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams.
- Provide advanced cardiovascular care to patients in our CVICU, utilizing your expertise in perioperative transesophageal echocardiography and other relevant skills.
- Partner with daytime and nighttime Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), physician leadership, and other clinical team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for our CVICU.
- Participate in educational engagement with Anesthesiology residents and Cardiology fellows, and attend national conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine.
- Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington.
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority.
- Certification in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.

Benefits- Competitive compensation package, including a salary base of $525,000 and performance/quality metric bonuses up to $60,000.
