Facilities Service Leader in a Fast-Paced Environment

Job Description: The Soft Services Manager is responsible for governing, overseeing, and supporting services such as Housekeeping, Food Services, Vending, and Lawncare. Key duties include partnering with vendors to meet strategic business objectives and key performance indicators.Responsibilities:
- Oversee Soft Services and vendor partner relationships by providing a seamless interface with site employer leadership and client through organization, leadership, responsiveness, and creativity.
- Lead with a Hospitality Mindset to create a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce costs, increase efficiency, productivity, or quality and/or reduce risk for the Client or Firm.
- Manage, coordinate, and execute services, reporting, audits, cost savings, small projects, centralized initiatives, and associated Client relationships.
- Ensure vendor management routines and Service Level Agreements are met and work is completed.
- Develop and execute appropriate reporting routines to support site and/or Client goals and objectives.
- Assist in site Compliance/Operations audit(s).
- In consultation and collaboration with leadership, oversee the operation, staffing, performance, and development of service delivery staff and vendors.
- Coordinate discussions with direct reports regarding goal setting, performance reviews, career development planning, and incentive/salary administration (if applicable).
- Perform additional job duties as requested.
- Provide a high level of detail, organized, flexibility, and willingness to assume new projects.
- Coordinate and manage performance of Services after normal business hours and during weekends as necessary or appropriate to provide, perform, and deliver the Services, or as reasonably requested.
- Manage and track work through a work order system.
- Comply with all state and local regulations, as well as firm and client safety requirements.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Services, Facilities Management, Property Management, Janitorial/Housekeeping Management.
- Janitorial/Housekeeping Management Experience is preferred.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- A proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service.
- Previous people and vendor management experience is required.
- A high degree of innovation and independence, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
