We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at M.C. Dean, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project work complies with general engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical and administrative information to project team members to ensure compliance with engineering standards and codes.
- Troubleshoot engineering-related installation problems and develop solutions to moderate scope and complexity.
- Plan and execute project completion and punch list.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
- Prepare invoices and submit O&M manuals.
- Assist in development of full estimate and participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
- Manage coordination and detailing logs and schedule.
- Manage schedule updates and productivity reports.
- Identify value-added solutions and cost savings methods.
- 2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably from an ABET accredited program).
- 0-2 years of experience with a MS/MA.
- Must be able to sit in a normal seated position for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Possessing good vision (may be corrected vision).
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Must have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms.
The successful candidate will be required to work in an office environment and may be required to access work areas that are accessible only by O.S.H.A. approved site construction ladders or stairs that are under construction.
Must wear an M.C. Dean hard hat and safety glasses at all times while on the job site.
Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
Sitting for extended periods of time.
Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
