Certified Nursing Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Liberty HomeCare. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Job Description:
  • Assist Residents with Daily Tasks

You will assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed during your shift.

Oral Hygiene Assistance

You will also assist with oral hygiene, including denture care, when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.

Patient Care Records

You will complete patient care records at the end of your shift, ensuring accurate intake and output information.

Support Charge Nurse

You will assist the charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Requirements:
  • Age and Education

You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

CNA Certification

You must be certified as a nursing assistant and listed in the DFS registry.

Geriatric Patient Care

You must be willing to care for geriatric patients and demonstrate a genuine concern for their welfare.

Communication Skills

You must be able to receive, understand, and follow orders.

Training and Meetings

You must be willing to attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Salary and Benefits:
