Role Overview: The Cardiac Monitoring Specialist is responsible for the continuous observation of electronic monitoring systems for multiple patients from a centralized telemetry station. This position requires the ability to identify both normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and document changes in cardiac rhythms, ensuring timely reporting in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain the availability and readiness of monitoring equipment and necessary supplies.
  • May also engage in pulse oximetry monitoring and reporting as required.
