Job Overview

RPh on the Go is seeking a seasoned pharmacy professional to lead our mail order and specialty pharmacy operations as Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC). This role involves overseeing daily pharmacy activities, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Staff Supervision: Train, evaluate, and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Workflow Optimization: Analyze and improve workflow to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, ordering, and conduct audits to reduce waste and ensure accuracy.
  • Patient Counseling: Counsel patients on medication use, including dosage and potential interactions.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate and address incidents to promote patient safety.
Requirements
  • Education: PharmD degree.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of pharmacy experience, including leadership roles.
  • Mail Order Experience: Mail order pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Licensure: Active Indiana pharmacy license required.
