Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our mobile lab team as an independent contractor. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient collection of patient samples for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood and other samples from patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Conduct medical assistant duties, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, and providing basic medical support as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure specimen integrity by adhering to strict protocols and safety standards.
  • Safely transport collected samples to the laboratory for testing, following appropriate handling and transportation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and laboratory staff to ensure seamless coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist, preferably in a mobile or clinical setting.
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Proficient in performing phlebotomy procedures and handling various medical equipment and supplies.
