Memory Care Director

At Addington Place of Lakeside Vista, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Memory Care to lead our Memory Care team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents with memory impairments.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate potential residents for Memory Care level of care, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor documentation systems to ensure compliance with regulatory timeframes and resident needs are met, writing and reviewing resident assessments and care plans with staff.
- Coordinate family/resident care conferences and serve as a liaison between residents, families, and staff, working collaboratively to ensure residents are at the appropriate level of care.
- Conduct interviews, orientation, and ongoing training of Memory Care Team employees, coaching and counseling staff as needed.
- Manage Memory Care employees in partnership with the Health and Wellness Director, promoting the company's Embrace philosophy in all interactions.
- Organize the monthly programming calendar and supplies, planning, coordinating, and evaluating Memory Care resident programs.
- Lead high-quality innovative programs in Memory Care, implementing and monitoring programs to promote excellence and resident satisfaction.
- Adhere to budget guidelines and maintain current knowledge of Alzheimer's/dementia topics, providing education and training to community staff.
