Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CUDA Staff Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems. This role will involve developing new radar digital signal processing software in support of identification and tracking of objects in geosynchronous orbit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
  • Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; prepare operating instructions; design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
  • Ensure software standards are met.
Requirements
  • 12 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree; 10 years of relevant experience with a completed Master's degree; 8 years of relevant experience with a completed PhD.
  • Active Secret clearance required at time of application.
  • 2 years of experience with CUDA.
  • 4 years of experience with C++.
  • Ability to work with lab equipment such as signals generators.
  • Experience developing applications in a Linux OS environment.
  • Experience developing software to solve mathematically complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with radar signal processing.
  • Experience with NVIDIA MatX library.
  • Experience with CuFFT and/or CuBLAS.
Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $225,000, as well as a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
