Job Summary

As a Guest Service Representative at Marriott International, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Your primary focus will be on check-in/check-out, room reservations, and guest requests, as well as securing payment and verifying billing. You will also be responsible for activating and filing room keys, processing guest requests, and relaying messages. Additionally, you will identify and explain room features to guests, supply them with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest. You will also follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and ensure they are resolved. Furthermore, you will run and review daily reports/logs, complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system, and accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver to the appropriate department. You will also count bank at the beginning and end of shift, secure bank, and process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. You will provide change and notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable.
  • Process check-in/check-out, room reservations, and guest requests.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
