Key Responsibilities:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Essential Knowledge:
  • Fundamentals of Project Management.
  • Expertise in Rockwell Automation software and Allen-Bradley hardware.
  • Industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and communication protocols.
  • Principles of electrical wiring and Data Historian development.
  • Comprehension of power distribution and software/data communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in controls and technology.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to interpret mechanical design schematics.
  • Programming logic for control systems and configuring VFDs.
  • Development of equipment specifications and strong problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in industrial or manufacturing controls engineering.
Work Environment:

The role is situated within manufacturing environments, with occasional travel required. The work pace can be rapid and demanding, with multiple projects being managed simultaneously.

Work Setting:
  • 80% office-based - focusing on project development, documentation, and meetings.
  • 20% travel - for project support, equipment installation, and vendor interactions.
