About Our Company

We are a leading full-service construction firm delivering high-quality solutions nationwide.

Our team is responsible for field operations and onsite construction management of design-build construction projects, specifically quality control for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection, construction, start up, and testing on highly complex projects. The Assistant Superintendent will have input in the planning and oversight of the job including scheduling of manpower, obtaining tools and materials needed, filing permits and other documents, and advising on budget expenditures. This role requires providing on-site supervision of the daily workload, job site safety, receiving and storing of tools and supplies, and reporting to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent.

The Role We Want You For

This position involves coordinating with preconstruction, design, engineering, procurement, operations, safety, quality, and all other project site management team members to ensure adequate project resources. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing construction employees and subcontractors to accomplish work within budget and schedule constraints. A strong project safety record and commitment to quality are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent trade experience with progression to management levels.
  • 0-5 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction management, preferably with design-build experience on large-scale projects.
  • Ability to supervise construction employees and subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong project safety record and commitment to quality.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to travel or relocate to jobsites.
  • Creative problem-solving and results-oriented approach.
  • Physical ability to walk unlevel terrain, scale scaffolding, and lift objects weighing at least 60 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $85,000-$110,000 annual salary based on qualifications and experience.
