The Project Manager Role

We seek an experienced Project Manager to provide leadership to our project staff and ensure timely execution of design-build projects from design to completion.

This role involves coordinating all aspects of the project, including communication with customers and their project teams, development of detailed project schedules, and management of contract resources.

  • Developing and tracking project schedules, ensuring timely completion of design, engineering, production, and installation activities.
  • Managing contract budgets, developing and submitting payment requisitions, and ensuring timely receipt of payments.
  • Pricing and purchasing materials, equipment, and sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with budgetary and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinating Quality Control efforts, developing and tracking quality control systems, and reporting on quality assurance metrics.
  • Researching and substantiating changes to contract scope, presenting recommendations to stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in large-scale subcontracting projects.
  • 2 years of experience in Glass and Glazing Project Management - Unitized Systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Project, and aptitude to learn in-house software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, adaptable style, and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Experience with project setup, budget planning, buy-out, and cost reporting.
  • Successful project management experience, including leading teams, maintaining relationships, and achieving results-oriented objectives.
  • Creative problem-solving, self-motivation, and ability to work well in both individual and team environments.
Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location. We also offer a discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
