SUMMARY:


The Engineering Manager is accountable for overseeing engineering teams, coordinating production schedules, and exploring innovative methods and products for future development.

This role includes responsibilities for recruiting and managing staff, as well as financial planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop project plans that align with organizational objectives for new product introductions or design enhancements.

2. Present and clarify budget and project proposals to stakeholders.

3. Prepare financial estimates, proposals, and contracts.

4. Collaborate with production and external management to define product specifications.

5. Lead the engineering team, ensuring effective direction, coordination, and assessment of performance.

6. Direct the engineering group's activities, including their collaboration with maintenance teams.

7. Engage in site-wide planning, including capital management and inventory oversight.

8. Support corporate and local initiatives (such as SAP, PIS, etc.).

9. Oversee departmental development and training; manage special projects.

10. Work alongside the accounting department to quantify, assess, and report cost savings; ensure project expenditures remain within budget.

11. Act as a liaison and facilitator for inter-company and intra-company initiatives.

12. Effectively communicate departmental and organizational goals, achievements, challenges, solutions, practices, changes, and policies. Foster positive communication and enforce all company policies and regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree Required; Master's Preferred (engineering background highly valued).

- 6+ years of relevant experience.

- Experience in managing complex industrial projects (construction management skills preferred).

- Familiarity with titanium processing is advantageous (not mandatory).

- Experience with melting processes is beneficial (not mandatory).

- Willingness to manage in a continuous manufacturing environment.

- Flexibility to work as needed with various shifts and respond to emergencies.

- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

- Statistical knowledge/experience is highly desirable.

- ISO9000 experience is advantageous (not mandatory).

- Strong leadership and analytical capabilities.

- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with all organizational levels.

- Proficient in personal computer skills (MS Office experience preferred).
