We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate an age-appropriate plan of care utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and patient education.
- Assess risks to patient safety and implement the appropriate precautions.
- Comply with safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk to self, co-workers, patients, and visitors.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
- BLS from the American Heart Association (or obtained during orientation) and maintain certification throughout employment.
