Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing the nursing process and clinical skills.
  • Provide education to patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices in cardiology and cardiac catheterization.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association (or obtained during orientation) and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • ACLS within 3 months of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
  • Critical Care experience, preferred.
