Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing expert support and ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to maintain a smooth and efficient surgical environment.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring seamless patient transitions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and best practices, ensuring expertise in gynecological cases.
- 2+ years of experience as a Surgical First Assistant in a hospital or surgical setting.
- Strong skills in gynecological cases, including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH).
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) via the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
