Job Summary:
Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Academic Instructor to join our team in the Career Education Center. As an Academic Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and training to students, developing individual achievement plans, and ensuring student academic achievement in the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction and training to students in a variety of subjects, including literacy and numeracy skills.
- Develop and implement individualized achievement plans to ensure student progress and completion of the Job Corps program.
- Collaborate with CTT Instructors to infuse applied academics into CTT curricula and enhance student learning and success.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
- Monitor and maintain a well-organized and conducive learning environment.
- Hold students accountable for following Center's dress code and behavioral standards of conduct.
- Produce high-quality work and assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and achievement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver required.
- Previous teaching or Job Corps experience preferred.
