Job Summary

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of radiologic imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute radiologic procedures for invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including Meditech and PACS systems.
  • Administer medication and therapies under the direction of a physician.
  • Collaborate with the Special Procedures team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care.
Requirements
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • Associated degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
  • ARRT certification is preferred.
