Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of radiologic imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute radiologic procedures for invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including Meditech and PACS systems.
- Administer medication and therapies under the direction of a physician.
- Collaborate with the Special Procedures team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care.
- One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
- Associated degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
- BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
- ARRT certification is preferred.
