Bach to Rock, a leading music education company, is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for providing private and semi-private music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music lessons using the Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements
  • Create a fun, encouraging, and focused lesson atmosphere
  • Assess students' readiness to join a band or ensemble
  • Assist at school events
  • May repair equipment as needed and able

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate them effectively to students
  • Have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task in a lesson
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of personalities
  • Be an experienced performer (either solo or group)
  • Have experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians
  • Be able to interact effectively with children and adults
  • Be able to pass a background check
