Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Instructor to join our team at United Aviate Academy. As a Senior Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for providing ground, flight, and simulator training to CFI candidates, ensuring they meet the required standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for CFI candidates, including ground training, flight training, and simulator training.
  • Maintain accurate student training records and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and United Aviate Academy policies.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a safe and efficient training environment.
  • Recommend curriculum and courseware improvements to enhance the training experience.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 24 months of experience as a CFI Instructor.
  • Current FAA CFI and CFII certifications.
  • Meet the minimum requirements of FAR Part 61.
  • Current, valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all are welcome to pursue a career as a pilot.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business Administration.
  • Gold Seal CFI, Master CFI, or equivalent certifications.
