About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grooming Salon Manager to lead our Petsense salon team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the highest standards of animal care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase salon sales and revenue, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with existing customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all pet owners and their dogs, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of groomers and technicians, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they meet the highest standards of animal care and safety.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Animal Care: Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in the salon, including providing a safe and comfortable environment for grooming and handling.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other stakeholders, including providing regular updates and feedback.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a grooming salon or related field.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for animal care and safety.
Working Conditions

The working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels. The salon is well-lit and temperature-controlled, with hard surfaces and adequate ventilation. The role requires standing for long periods, frequent movement, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
