About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pantry Cook to join our team at Kimpton Claret Hotel at Belleview Station in Denver, CO. As a Pantry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality cold food, including salads, meat and cheese boards, chilled soups, and sauces. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our guests receive exceptional food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present cold food items, including salads, hors d'oeuvres, and appetizers, to a high standard of quality and presentation.
  • Clean and maintain the prep area, equipment, and utensils to meet health code standards.
  • Order and stock food supplies for the cold station, ensuring timely delivery and minimal waste.
  • Garnish dishes and ensure that cold sides, such as butters, sauces, and spreads, are sent with orders.
  • Arrange food in a creative and visually appealing style for special events, such as weddings and fundraisers.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a related or supportive role, preferably in a food service environment.
  • Food Handler Certification (if applicable).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision to complete assigned tasks.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
