We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Abdominal Transplant Unit at Duke Health. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our transplant program.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients undergoing liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary transplant team to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms, medications, and treatment plans, making adjustments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in transplant care.
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher) OR Associate's Degree in Nursing OR Nursing Diploma program.
- Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
- BLS Certification.
