Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business processes and analyze user needs to inform design decisions
  • Elicit business goals and user needs from stakeholders through effective communication
  • Facilitate customer discovery sessions to gain a deep understanding of user needs
  • Create conceptual models, journey maps, personas, and scenarios of use to inform design decisions
  • Design and conduct usability testing to ensure user-friendly interfaces
  • Document user requirements, screen designs, and design recommendations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of direct interaction/interface design experience in user-centered methods and user analysis
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical topics to stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust contract requirement
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive design decisions
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and responsive design
  • Hold additional UX certifications such as UX Master Certification (NN/g) or UX Design Immersive (General Assembly)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Axure RP prototyping software and Adobe XD
  • Experience with Pega and/or ServiceNow platforms
  • Understanding of Section 508 and its requirements regarding design

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience
