We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Lending and Community Development to join our team at BankTalent HQ. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our lending and community development efforts and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and communities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement national, regional, and local lending strategies to support the growth of equitable and inclusive lending, self-sufficiency in the lending and portfolio management line of business, and innovations to increase lending efficiencies that minimize risk for network lenders.
- Build upon and co-create strategies to implement defined lending strategies, working closely with teams across BankTalent HQ and the CDFI Industry to identify and expand network resources and to strengthen the capacity of network lenders.
- Manage annual Supplemental Grants process for network lenders, collaborating with different teams within BankTalent HQ.
- College level degree, certification(s), and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of working in a nonprofit or community development financial institution environment with mortgage lending financing.
- Professional certification in community development finance, community economic development, or nonprofit management.
- 2-4 years' experience concentrated in community development finance Mortgage lending experience.
- Up to 10% travel.
- Fast-paced working environment with extensive computer usage.
- Hybrid: This role reports into the office 2 days per week.
