Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and evaluate physician orders to prepare, calculate, and dispense medication dosage forms for inpatients and outpatients.
2. Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement formulary changes, ensuring the best possible treatment options for our patients.
3. Supervise the generation of computerized Medication Administration Records (MARs) and ensure their timely delivery to relevant units.
4. Identify and resolve potential medication-related issues, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
5. Work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive appropriate drug therapy.
Requirements:
Active Kentucky Pharmacist License
Recent hospital experience is preferred, but not required.
