POSITION OVERVIEW:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining quality and reliability standards by engaging with engineering documentation, schematic representations, and collaborating with management and engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes and implements standards and methodologies for inspection, testing, and evaluation, including the development of advanced quality planning documentation
  • Prepares and assesses Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation for both clients and suppliers
  • Supports the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) team in addressing quality concerns during new product introductions
  • Oversees project timelines and ensures adherence to quality protocols
  • Maintains effective communication with clients and suppliers
  • Engages in initiatives aimed at reducing defects and scrap
  • Assists in procuring Quality Assurance materials and equipment
  • Conducts training sessions focused on quality control practices
  • Monitors quality control processes and conducts testing on materials, components, or products
  • Documents and analyzes test results, composes reports, and suggests modifications to quality benchmarks
  • Sets up and executes tests on materials or products, prepares data for evaluation, and keeps quality records
  • Ensures compliance with safety protocols in the quality control laboratory
  • And performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an injection molding environment with an emphasis on process troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Familiarity with computer systems and relevant software such as Microsoft Office and Minitab
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and TS16949 standards
