Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting and delivering building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Report any necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed to ensure compliance with DOT guidelines.
  • Load and unload trucks using a Manitou or Moffett.
  • Verify the entire content load prior to leaving the manufacturing facility or job site.
  • Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • At least 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (equivalent military experience is acceptable).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
  • Multi-drop delivery experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Ability to plan and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions.
