Key Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical engineering and geological analyses and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare and write comprehensive engineering reports to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Conduct field explorations, collect samples, and perform geologic reconnaissance to gather data for site investigations.

  • Perform geotechnical lab testing and communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Master's or Ph.D. degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 0-6 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, with a strong background in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and geotechnical design.
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining an Engineer-in-Training Certificate.
  • Be on track to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • Have experience or coursework in areas such as shallow and deep foundations, tunneling, microtunneling, seismic design, earthquake engineering, and retaining structures.
  • Have some knowledge or experience of field/construction observation in areas such as logging geotechnical explorations, observation of pile driving operations, and installation and recording of geotechnical instrumentation.
