Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at United Hospital Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Certification Requirements
  • ARRT (MR) certification is required for this position.
  • General certification requirements include BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Job Details
  • This is a 13-week contract position.
  • The specialty for this position is MRI - 160.
Job Requirements
  • ARRT and BLS certifications are required for this position.
  • Experience in routine neuro, MSK, and abdominal imaging is necessary.
  • Specialty imaging includes cardiac, prostate, and breast imaging.
  • The ability to start IVs if applicable to the department is required.
Schedule Information
  • The weekday shift is from 8:30 AM to 10:30 PM.
  • The weekend shift is from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
  • No self-scheduling is available for this position.
  • One position will be a full weekend, and another will be a weekday position.
Unit Specific Information
  • The average number of scans/studies per day is 52 for weekdays and 27 for weekends.
  • The EMR/PACS system used is EPIC and Synapse.
  • The department-specific equipment used is Siemens.
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) are used in this department.
Additional Details
  • Weekend requirements are applicable for this position.
  • Holiday requirements are not applicable for this position.
  • Call or standby requirements are not applicable for this position.
  • The scrub color/dress code for this position is navy blue, with scrubs provided.
  • Department-specific orientation will be provided.
