Overview

Regal Rexnord is in search of a Continuous Improvement Manager specializing in Commercial Excellence to join our North America Commercial Operations team. This pivotal position is tasked with the strategic enhancement of the function's framework and processes essential for executing our unique service model with key clients through proactive leadership and facilitation. The role will spearhead Policy Deployment, Annual Improvement Plans (AIP), and Transformational/Continuous Improvement Roadmaps for the IPS Commercial operations leadership team. As an integral member of the commercial operations team, this position will influence outcomes and organizational culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems, and utilizing effective tools and methodologies to drive transformation and change across the commercial operations sector.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Problem-Solving

  • Assist the organization in achieving growth through differentiated services to key customers, ensuring world-class responsiveness and information by effectively leading breakthrough and transformational initiatives.
  • Identify, develop, and guide breakthrough projects within the North America commercial operations, crafting a vision for change and setting ambitious goals and milestones for transformative impact.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor multiple projects concurrently through both hands-on and influential approaches.
  • Champion the integration of Regal Business System (RBS) principles across commercial transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with Product Management, Strategic Marketing, and Operations.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments (Customer Care, Integration, Product Management, and Operations) to ensure standard processes align with departmental objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, nurturing a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation, encouraging creative thinking and exploration of new solutions for complex challenges.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of transformation initiatives, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Implement regular review mechanisms to evaluate the impact of initiatives on customer satisfaction and business outcomes, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in leading transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within a commercial setting.
  • Willingness to travel to regional locations up to 25%.
  • Strong commercial insight and understanding of e-commerce, organizational integration, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Experience with implementing business systems like the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) or similar lean management principles.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and drive change across the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills to accurately identify problem areas and potential solutions; prior knowledge and application of 80/20 principles is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and project management software, and CRM systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
  • Proven ability to leverage diverse inputs to establish a strategic vision; translating that vision into key objectives, implementation plans, and measures of success.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and develop strategic insights.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams on a transformational journey.
