Patient Care Associate/ 36 hour Days 4 Usen

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Associate to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care needs, including activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Assist with patient data and specimen collection, including vital signs, pulse oximetry, and non-invasive blood pressure.
- Operate equipment, such as cardiac monitors, portable oxygen cylinders, and suction canisters.
- Participate in hourly rounding and respond to patient call lights in a timely manner.
- Document patient information, including intake of fluids and food, height and weight, and output of urine, stool, vomitus, and drain output.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or is a Nursing Student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
This is a 36 hour per week position, working days. The Patient Care Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients and families in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient units.
