About the Role

Sunrun is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales leads and presenting our solar products and services to potential customers in their homes. Your primary goal will be to establish genuine connections with customers, assess their energy needs, and provide personalized solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate leads and appointments with potential customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to installation and beyond.
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations, assess customer knowledge and needs, and build long-term relationships.
  • Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and ensure timely installation of solar systems.
  • Accurately track and report sales outcomes using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets as set by sales leadership.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally to address customer needs.
  • Willingness to travel within local markets, depending on business needs and sales model.
  • Intermediate comfort level with technology, including IPAD/computer and multiple software applications (CRM experience a plus).
