Career Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our Network of Care Pharmacy team at Children's Hospital Colorado. This PRN (as needed) position will provide float coverage for both North Campus and South Campus locations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and effective use of medication in pediatric patients
  • Provide drug information services, including responding to questions regarding medication compatibilities, adverse drug events, regimens, dosing, interactions, storage, and disposal
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine the best medication regimen and monitoring plan for pediatric patients
  • Participate in therapeutic decision-making and therapeutic drug monitoring activities

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree
  • Completion of one year pharmacy residency or one year of pharmacy work experience accepted in lieu of residency
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute accepted)
  • State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Pharmacist license

Salary

$83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
