Job Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a Robotics Technician, you will be responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of assembly robots and test equipment to assemble quality products in accordance with robot assembly procedures and Bill of Materials List (BOM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain assembly robot and test equipment to ensure quality products are assembled in accordance with procedures and BOM.
  • Perform quality tests according to test specifications to maintain quality of assembled products.
  • Stock and maintain assembly cell inventory to ensure efficient production.
  • Participate in safety training and demonstrate a high regard for safety at all times.
  • Perform set-up and maintenance operations, including staging materials, setting up robot assembly cell and test equipment, and performing robotic cell part changeover.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting, and fix faults and stoppages on robot assembly cell.
  • Load and monitor robot assembly cell according to procedure and make adjustments to the robot as needed.
  • Perform quality checks at each assembly stage per test specifications to assure products are assembled to standard.
  • Work on cost-saving projects, Six Sigma projects, and provide support for other team members and projects.
  • Utilize lean tools and techniques such as 5S and visual factory concepts in maintaining order and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of related work experience and High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
